Sophie Calle in Dublin

Sophie CalleKILMAINHAM -- The first solo exhibition in Ireland by Sophie Calle, the internationally acclaimed French artist, runs in IMMA until 15 August 2004. The exhibition presents material ranging from 1979 to 2003 alongside new works. In my opinion, the fascinating travelogue hung in the long hall is the most compelling item. Viewers should respect the instructions and carry all bags below waist level to allow others to engage with this work.

Lessons for PR Industry

GLOBAL PR WEEK -- Even though the week-long Global PR Week finished last Friday, the remnants provide essential reading for anyone in the PR industry. Although blog posts have throttled back and the traffic count no longer registers in the thousands, the site deserves a careful reading by PR professionals. BLOGADS -- Surveys continue to show that blog readers are older and more affluent than typical Internet users: 61% of blog readers responding to the survey are over 30, and 75% make more than $45,000 a year.
